Automobiles in German City Found Covered with Swastikas in Blood, Law Enforcement State

Officers stated they were notified by a man who found a automobile in Hanau smeared with reddish fluid

Roughly fifty automobiles have been covered with what appears to be human bodily fluid in the Germany's municipality of Hanau close to Frankfurt, as reported by authorities.

Vehicles, exterior walls and postboxes were marked, occasionally with swastikas, they stated in a statement.

Police state they were notified in the late hours on Wednesday night, when a man discovered that a vehicle in the Lamboy district of Hanau had been smeared with a reddish-hued fluid.

The fluid had been drawn in the shape of a swastika, they reported.

Law enforcement then found numerous other marked automobiles and building exteriors in the adjacent neighborhood.

Swastikas are prohibited in Germany under legislation banning the public exhibition of Nazi symbols.

Police say preliminary tests show the fluid was probably blood from a person.

"At present there remains no indication as to its source; investigators are currently not informed of any injuries in association with the event," they stated.

Local authorities announced they were working "to resolve the case" and have requested to the residents for information.

A senior representative commented the incident rendered him without words and required to be solved quickly.

"This act affects the center of Hanau and reawakens the pain of the right-wing terrorist attack half a decade ago," he wrote on a platform, recalling the killing of nine people by a shooter focusing on people of foreign heritage in five years prior.
